Jacqueline Hinckley , PhD, CCC-SLP
Jacqueline Hinckley, Ph.D., CCC-SLP is Associate Professor Emeritus in Communication Sciences & Disorders at the University of South Florida. She is also affiliated with Steps Forward Therapy Aphasia Center in St. Petersburg, FL. Hinckley is a past Board Member of the National Aphasia Association (from 1999 to 2007) and is a current Advisory Board Member. She is Board Certified in Neurogenic-Communication Disorders by the Academy of Neurologic Communication Disorders and Sciences. Hinckley has authored or co-authored numerous journal articles and book chapters on the topic of aphasia, aphasia therapy, and other neurogenic language and cognitive disorders. Among her publications are a book of simulations entitled What is it like to have a communication disorder? and a book entitled Narrative-Based Practice in Speech-Language Pathology.
