Ellen Hemrick , MS CCC-SLP
Ellen Hemrick, MS CCC-SLP has been working with people with disabilities since 1989 and has been a speech-language pathologist since 1996. She received her bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Emerson College, where she learned how to approach children from a family-centered, developmental model. She has worked in many different settings: private homes in Early Intervention and private practice; elementary schools, as a consultant and as an employee; institutionalized settings and group homes; and, currently, in private offices providing outpatient therapy. She specializes in working with young children with developmental disabilities such as Autism and feels that the people who have taught her the most are the children and their families.
