    Dawnyale F. Hill, MS, CCC-SLP, has enjoyed a career as a speech-language pathologist for the past 14 years. Dawnyale has worked in a variety of settings including schools, home health, private practice, skilled nursing facilities, acute hospital, and early intervention. Dawnyale's most recent career adventure has been working as a speech-language pathologist in the Speech-Language Pathology Clinic at the Atlanta Speech School in Atlanta, Georgia. The Atlanta Speech School is the nation's most comprehensive center for language and literacy. With four schools and five clinics under one roof, Dawnyale has the opportunity to work with children with developmental speech/language impairments, fluency disorders, speech/language delays due to hearing loss, as well as language-based learning disabilities including dyslexia. The Speech-Language Pathology Clinic also provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to adults in the community. Additionally, Dawnyale continues to enjoy serving individuals through her private practice, Fostering Communication, and is also on staff at Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, Georgia.

    Speaking publicly for over 30 years, Dawnyale has developed a passion for public speaking and training others to become effective communicators. Originally from Fayetteville, NC, she is from a family of speech language pathologists. Her sister is a speech pathologist, also in the greater Atlanta area, and her mother started her career in speech pathology, however is currently a licensed clinical psychologist in North Carolina. Dawnyale received her Bachelor's Degree from Hampton University and her Master's Degree from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
